Proficiency in general pharmacy technician duties is required. Activities are done in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations with patient health paramount.Qualifications:
  • High School or equivalent required
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a pharmacy technician
  • Pharmacy technician experience in a pediatric setting preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office computer applications, Epic EHR, DoseEdge, and Omnicell preferred
  • Texas State Board of Pharmacy Registration
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • BLS Certification (within 90 days of hire)
  • ACPE IV Certification (within 6 months of hire)
  • Medication History training certificate course, as specified by Pharmacy Leadership (within 6 months of hire)
