Responsibiliti

• es:Perform lump sum "takeoff" of material, labor, and vendor costs using design drawings and specificatio
• ns.Communicate with General Contractors to clarify project requirements and timelin
• es.Request and manage vendor quotes for materials and servic
• es.Review project specifications to ensure full scope coverage in estimat
• es.Provide the estimating manager with detailed Scope of Work, inclusions/exclusions, and qualifications for proposal submissi
• on.Track bid progress and follow up with contractors on bid awar
  ds.
  Requireme
  • nts:High School diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree prefer
  • red.Minimum of 5 years experience in the steel fabrication indus
  • try.Ability to read and interpret structural/architectural drawi
  • ngs.Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with Blue Beam and On-Screen Take
  • off.Knowledge of AISC practices, construction standards, and procedures from award to close
    out.
