At UT Health Athens, we are seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to join our team of compassionate healthcare professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care in a supportive and dynamic environment.As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions, utilizing state-of-the-art imaging technology to provide accurate and timely diagnoses. You will work closely with our team of radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.Responsibilities:

• Performs diagnostic, interventional, and/or therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages, ensuring accurate and complete examination/treatment by complying with established policies and procedures.
• Organizes and documents all aspects of assigned patient care in coordination with radiologists, nursing personnel, and other areas of department to ensure accurate and timely performance of radiology procedures.
• Participates in performance improvement activities by participating in the collection of data for performance improvement activities to ensure quality is consistent with established standards.
• Assumes responsibility for professional growth and development by participating in educational activities to promote continuous improvement and compliance with patient care standards.Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology program.
  • Two to three years of experience as a diagnostic technologist.
  • CPR Certified (all levels) Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire date.
  • Must be licensed by the State of Texas.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Certification in C.T., MRI, or Special Procedures.
