Location:Dodson Medical Office BuildingDepartment:Cln-EndocrinologyShift:First Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:40Summary:This position is an RN responsible for providing direct care to patients living with diabetes and their caregivers seen in the hospital and any out-patient clinic where these patients are seen under the care of a Cook clinical provider. This person enhances the quality of patient care by providing specialized diabetic education, in-service, and continuing education programs for patients/families and the nursing staff.Education & Experience:

• BSN preferred
• Three years clinical experience; pediatric preferred
• Organizational and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the principles of endocrine nursingCertification/Licensure:
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
