Join us!Responsibilities: --- Support the design, development, and implementation of complex system engineering activities involving cross-functional technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities.--- Responsible for components of highly complex engineering and analytical tasks and activities.--- Establish input / output processes and working parameters for hardware / software compatibility, coordination of subsystems design, and integration of total system.--- Function as a technology subject matter expert able to provide and communicate complex technology solutions across differing audiences including technical, managerial, business executives, and/or vendors.--- Install and configure Middleware servers utilizing technologies including WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat Server, Jboss, Apache, WebLogic and OpenShift, in production and non-production environments.--- Deploy, support and migrate business critical java-based applications on Linux and Windows platforms and utilize Control-M for ongoing job scheduling and MicroStrategy for reporting to significantly streamline operations and enhance informed decision-making processes.--- Work on Python, shell, java and ansible scripting to automate day to day operations.--- Analyze and evaluate the performance of Middleware servers and gathering precise application-related information to troubleshoot and improve the performance of internet and intranet facing critical applications.--- Review Venafi certificates installed on middleware technologies for multiple applications to ensure critical and robust protection against potential threats.--- Design and develop new proof of concept projects to enhance current middleware systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets utilizing terraform, openshift, Amazon AWS and docker.--- Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.Required Skills & Experience: --- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Engineering (any), or related; and--- 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.--- Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:--- Installing and configuring Middleware servers utilizing technologies including WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat Server, Jboss, Apache, WebLogic and OpenShift, in production and non-production environments;--- Deploying, supporting and migrating business critical java-based applications on Linux and Windows platforms and utilizing Control-M for ongoing job scheduling and MicroStrategy for reporting to significantly streamline operations and enhance informed decision-making processes;--- Working on Python, shell, java and ansible scripting to automate day to day operations;--- Analyzing and evaluating the performance of Middleware servers and gathering precise application-related information to troubleshoot and improve the performance of internet and intranet facing critical applications;--- Reviewing Venafi certificates installed on middleware technologies for multiple applications to ensure critical and robust protection against potential threats; and,--- Designing and developing new proof of concept projects to enhance current middleware systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets utilizing terraform, openshift, Amazon AWS and docker.If interested apply online at www.bankofamerica.com/careers or email your resume to bofajobs@bofa.com and reference the job title of the role and requisition number.Salary: $149,800 - $159,800 per yearEmployer: Bank of America N.A.Shift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40
