Aon Is Looking for a Forensic Accounting / Property Construction
ConsultantAs part of an industry-leading team, you will help
empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and
effective solutions as part of our Aon Property & Risk Consulting
business group within Aon Risk Solutions. You will report directly
to the Managing Director of Aon's Rapid Response, Claims
Preparation, Advocacy and Valuation team. DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESAs respects property damage and business
interruption claims:
Strong knowledge of construction
estimatingProject scheduling / Project rebuild
projectionsReplacement Valuations of physical propertyKnowledge in
loss mitigation/planningKnowledge of Marshall and swift Manuals and
other guidesBonus - Understanding of the use of XactimateReview,
audit and analyze accounting books and records, financial
statements, or other financial reports - P&L's, budgets,
inventory, revenues, value of production, invoices, bank records,
expensesData entry and statistical analysisProcess information -
compile, categorize, calculate, audit, verify information and data.
Double check for accuracyCommunicate to team members on workload,
status of projectsBasic office administration - make copies,
organize files, manage office suppliesTime and expense tracking -
On a regular basis, track time and expense for client billing and
internal usage. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS10 to 15 Years of
relevant experienceMathematics and Accounting Principles - Using
mathematics and basic accounting principles to solve
problemsAbility to be proactive and to prioritize tasks. Good
multitaskerInterpersonal & teamwork- Working cooperatively with
others - peers, supervisors, clients, adjusters, auditors and
building relationships to mutually achieve the goalsTechnical
Insurance knowledge - strong background/knowledge of basic
principles of insurance, the roles of the players and how property
insurance coverage appliesDeductive Reasoning - the ability to
apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that
make senseMathematical Reasoning - the ability to choose the right
mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problemOral Expression
- the ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so
others will understandWritten Expression - the ability to
communicate information and ideas in writing so others will
understandStrong computer skills in MSOffice with ability to do
Macros a plus, but not requiredTravel - job requires domestic and

related projectsMINIMUM EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university or

at any time.Pay Transparency Laws:The salary range for this
position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $135,000 to $160,000
annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's
education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal
equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be
adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.This position is
eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to
receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and
conditions of the applicable incentive plan.Aon offers a
comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and regular
